St. George Parish in Fier undertook a spiritual pilgrimage to Arta and Nafpaktos in Greece. The journey took place with the blessing and special care of Metropolitan Nikolaos of Apollonia and Fier.
The pilgrims’ first stop was the Monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Arta. From there, the group continued to Trikorfo, in the Nafpaktos area, where they visited the Monastery of St. Augustine and St. Seraphim.
During their visit to the monastery in Trikorfo, the pilgrims took part in Friday evening Vespers. On Saturday morning, they attended Matins and the Divine Liturgy. The pilgrimage brought together visits to monasteries in Arta and the Nafpaktos region with participation in the services held there.
