More than 185,000 faithful attended the Iași celebration. Pilgrims came to venerate the relics of Saint Parascheva and Saint Paisius of Sihăstria.
The pilgrimage culminated in a hierarchical Divine Liturgy. Metropolitan Dimitrios of France, Exarch of Europe, officiated the service. Twenty-eight hierarchs from Romania and other countries participated.
The Liturgy was celebrated on a specially prepared platform beside Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Pedestrian Street, at the altar of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Those attending the pilgrimage came to Iași for the veneration of the relics of the two saints. The hierarchical service was the culminating moment of the pilgrimage, with Metropolitan Dimitrios officiating and hierarchs taking part from Romania and abroad.
