The Lord’s Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer is the prayer Jesus Christ taught his disciples in Matthew 6:9–13. It turns the heart to the heavenly Father and includes petitions for daily bread, forgiveness, help in temptation, and deliverance from evil.
Psalm 51: A Prayer of Repentance
Psalm 51 is a prayer of repentance, asking God for mercy, cleansing, and a renewed heart. It may be prayed in the morning or evening, slowly and attentively, with honest awareness of one’s own life.
