A Divine Liturgy took place at the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral in Tirana on 11 October 2026.
Archbishop Joan led the service. Bishop Ignat of Amantia concelebrated, together with clergy of the Holy Archbishopric.
Following the liturgy, activities were held with children, adolescents, young people and family members. The gathering brought worship and community activities together at the cathedral for participants of different ages.
For readers who are new to the term, a Divine Liturgy is the central worship service in the Orthodox Christian tradition. Concelebration means that more than one bishop or priest takes part in leading the service.
The event at Tirana’s Resurrection of Christ Cathedral included both the liturgical service and the later activities for families and younger participants.
