Great Vespers was held on Saturday, October 3, at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. The evening service brought together more than 150 faithful from the Pittsburgh area.

Bishop Thomas of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America presided. Among those attending were Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and Bishop Andrei of Cleveland. The Romanian Orthodox hierarchs were joined by other hierarchs of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.

Great Vespers is an Orthodox evening worship service. In Bridgeville, the gathering offered local clergy and parishioners an opportunity to pray alongside visiting bishops. The parish priest conveyed the prayers of the local clergy and faithful for a fruitful meeting of the Assembly.

Following the service, participants met in the parish hall for a reception hosted by the parish and time of fellowship.
